I just bought a land raider at a swap meet. I want to maybe use it with my Blood Angels. Tell me about Blood Angels and land raiders. What's the best way to kit out a land raider for use with Blood Angels. What kinds of lists use land raiders? How should I paint my land raider? What should I name it?

I personally only use them when I play with terminators, I'm not fond of anything that deepstrikes, and as large of a model as that, you're bound for a mishap 4/10 times. I would use it in a mechanised list, which takes advantage of the 35 point reduction in dedicated transport point cost, so, it'll be heavy in rhinos and razorbacks, but they can't use their jump packs if you use this rule. Have a librarian as your hq, 100 point HQ, maybe a captain, just try it out, and have fun with it.

The thing to keep in mind with a Land Raider is that you're paying for the transport capacity. Whatever shooting you get is a secondary bonus.

With that in mind, the only cargos that really make sense are Assault Terminators and Death Company, as they are the only things that are really scary charging out of one. Assault Marines really aren't scary enough.

Since Death Company aren't a great choice, I'd go with 5 TH/SS Terminators, plus a Librarian with Shield and Unleash Rage if the LR is a variant.
