Take your pick. It varies, there are so many builds for guard that you could pretty much build anything in those point builds and have a good list.

There are a ton of different build for the IG codex. You have power blobs, parking lot, chimera vet rush, regular blobs, shooty blobs, leman russ spam, valk spam. Basically anything you can think of, lol.

I personally run a mix list of vet chimeras and powerblob.

You can run all one list set, or you can mix it up. I wouldnt suggest trying more than 3 different list styles though. Then you cant really capitilize on how good the codex really is.

Atm Im play testing an IG leafblower list that seems real effective if not common. Basicaly chimera wall with medusa and manticore backing as well as vendetta awesomeness. Its effective and made specificaly for Tournament play though so in casual games may not be best choice.

Id suggest looking into the gunline style. Its fun and can be quite powerful if done succesfuly.
