A friend and myself are getting into "Warmahordes" and I have been looking through the armies and I am considering going with Legion of Everblight or Cygnar. Looking at the models I am concerned that with my low low low level of painting I will not be able to make these models look good enough to play with. Are they really hard to paint?

I don't think any models are all that hard to paint now with so many options for washes and good foundation paints. Use a lot of washes and let the model paint it's details for you!

My advice?

Legion of Everblight is not hard to paint, but the colour scheme is important. The reason being that legion is commonly painted in harsh strange colors (like purple, urnge, turkwise or pink) which detract from the model, especially considering that the whole model is one color.

It might just be my opinion, but i like the studio scheme the best and easily achieved (dheneb stone with small amounts of red, blue, and brown wash).

With the much lower model count in WarmaHordes you can spend that much more time on each of the models to make them look good.

For some basic Cygnar tips, you can check out my blog http://ik-painter.blogspot.com/search/label/From%20Zero%20to%20Hero for some inspiration.
