Im trying to build an ork Battle wagon list but since im relatively new to the game, i dont really know what the hell im doing so ive been debating about adding certain things, which are:

-squad of burna boys
-mega nobs
-instead of using slugga and choppa boys use shootas
-warbikers

Step one would probably be to ask this question in the right place. 40k Army Lists.

That being said, since I'm here, I'll give you my two cents.

Burna Boys, nahhh. Not necessary, unless you know you'll be going up against 'Nids, IG, or other Orks.

Mega Nobs, maybe. You're putting them in a transport, right?

For the BW, go Slugga. You can drive right up, and assault with 20 boys with 4 attacks each (+2 for assault and CCW's). Shoota's are better footsloggers.

Warbikers I find are pretty underrated. Definitely try them.

Also, Deffkoptas with TLRokkits, squads of 3 with 1 Buzzsaw, and the Deff rolla's on the BW. Ohhhh BW.

Ok. BW list can be very fun and nasty if done right. Lets start with talking about the stuff you are interested in.

-squad of burna boys
Burnas are a really nice unit for a BW list. This is why. The burnas can all fire from out of the BW with out getting out. If there is 15 burnas in the wagon with a template hitting 5-6 guys then that turns into 75-80 hits. Half of those will wound which means a pretty dead squad. No matter armor of not. They are a very fun unit to use but are a big fire magnet.

-mega nobs
Ok the Meganobs. They are one of my favorite units. Having them in a transport means they can get there fast. They do lack some things though. First is an invulnerable save. You have to pick your targets well with them. If you take a warboss they can become a troop choice. Very nice option if you need to. Next is they have a low LD. That can be a problem. Adding a warboss to the squad can help with this.

I prefer Shootas always to Sluggas. Not only can they shoot at longer ranges but they are still quit good in CC. Make a drive by and have 40 shots coming out of the BW.

-warbikers
Warbikes are a nice unit to drive along with the BW's. They can help protect it from CC unitsgetting to close to it and they also have a ton of firepower themselves. I think having a nice sized squad of bikes would be key to an army like this. Maybe 2 squads of 7-8 as body guards. They give themselves cover saves as well so you don't have to worry about them to much.

Now they one thing I do sugggest is at least one of your HQ's should be a Mek with a KFF. He is really the backbone of the BW list. The KFF will cover all of those BW so you are getting 4+ saves on them. I myself run 2 but you might be able to get away with one. Here is alittle something I came up with.

This is 2k on the nose. Not sure what points level you want but there you go. I play more of a shooty army so I might change a few things but it has what you were interested in. Should be a pretty fun army to play but I think you should make some changes as you see fit. The Mek will go witht he burnas and the boss with the meganobs. Well good luck and I hope this helps.
