Subject: Command Squad question - Chaplain and Librarian?

I just picked up a copy of the 5th edition SM Codex. I lost my 4th Edition along with entire army a few years ago, and am now starting to get into the game again.
That being said, I seem to recall that Chaplains and Librarians could take command squads as well. In the 5th Ed., there appears to be no option for that listed under either Chaplain or Librarian, nor under the Command Squad entry. Is it safe to assume that Command Squad's can only be taken by the Captain?

A command squad may only be taken if you take a captain or one of the special captains.
So no, libby and chappy can't take them.

Warhammer, one of a few games where Yahtzee is possible and not always a good thing
GENERATION 9: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

They also changed how command squads work. They're now a separate unit, rather than a retinue. So, the Captain is free to join or leave the squad whenever he wants.

Ok, cool. thanks for the replies. A shame I can't take them with the Librarian or Chaplain, but guess that's how the cookie crumbles.

BT is the only army that can take the 4th edition one command squad for chaplain which is a retinue.

Just pointing out that while the BT Command Squad is technically a retinue, it doesn't protect the IC in CC. You get all the rubbish without the good parts...
