Hey I'm new to these fourms but wondering if there are any mature (20+) gamers in or around belfast? I've been having a hard time finding a regular game group for 40k. I dont particularly want to go to the GW snice its full off 12yr olds, or people with the mental maturity of a 12yr old. I'd appreciate any replys or directions on finding a good group. And please dont suggest Dragon Slayers.

Whilst I can promise you Im not a 12 yr old gamer (Im 23) I cant vouch for the mental maturity age thing...

Have you heard off, or been in Serenity Games on Botanic Avenue?

I have aye, though I tend not to go down there as A: Its either packed or B: boiling hot and humid there, but that being said Im not against going there.

Other options are:
Creative Destruction in Portadown (new place, not been open that long but doing really well for itself.
Arkham Asylum out in Larne, which is a great place, though often I found it hit-or-miss whether or not there was another soul in the place...

Over the last few years the gaming scene over here has went from strength to strength, so there is places to play for those that are more mature like ourselves.

1 Lisburn gaming club is probably one of the best
2 Dragon slayers at Queens University on Tuesday night
3 tabletop North at Belfast boat club
4 arkham gaming centre in Larne
5 Creative Destruction in Portadown
6 Serenity Games in Belfast
7 Northern wasters based in Ballymena

I'm based in Ards and can game at my place with 4 or so players (2 table setup) and go to lisburn club, so can vouch for it being a good 40k place.

As for belfast gamers in their 20's I know of about 5-6 (who also go to lisburn).

Hi mate Im over here too. Im a member of a club at Aldergrove. We play every Friday on all games and are always looking for new players. We have 5 tables and loads of space so let me know if your interested.

Lisburn gaming club is defo one of the better choices, but theres is a few of good clubs.
