These are dark eldar minis that I did for a commission a little while back. Can't think of a lot more to say, so here they are:

Nice work. Your painting is crisp and well blended, and the colors are subdued enough that they still look as realistic as can be expected. It's all a little anime for my tastes, but then again I wasn't the one paying for the work. Your client should be very pleased!

What unit is that last batch of? They look like forgotten realms drow with magic literally flowing out of their right arms.

They are the Citadel Dark Eldar Mandrakes, released shortly after the new Codex.

They sure are. This set is from the brief period when they were metal.

You know, it really doesn't show up in the photos, but inside that block of ice that the leader is standing on, there is a space wolf terminator's head.

You aren't going to like this. It is just snow flocking that I got from a model train store.

After I got it, I tried out a few different ways of applying snow flocking to bases. I've generally found that using super glue (rather than PVA or white glue) will make the snow opaque like this.

Which is a little odd, since the stuff actually looks pretty translucent before the glue dries completely.
