Like many people (I suspect) I have somehow amassed a large collection of models that remain unpainted. To remedy this I've decided to keep a plog to motivate me to get the backlog cleared. Coming up will be a magnetized Furioso dread. but first up is something I've painted today, an Ariadnan Zouave Sapper from the Infinity game system:

Scale is 28mm realistic I believe. Excellent sculpt with very few mold lines/flash. Haven't played the game so cannot comment on the rules system but IMO these as some of the best miniatures on the market.

Spent the week working on this. Its the sixth I've painted from the Space Hulk set (The previous five can be seen here) and I have to say that whoever sculpted these (GW or FFG) they did an excellent job. This is swimming in detail and excellently posed, really puts the generic terminators to shame.

Anyway, its off to the big e-bay in the sky. Still working on the Furioso Dread. Painting that is like pulling teeth. Will post a WIP pic soon.

Latest up is Huron Blackheart (finecast)

This is the first finecast model I've completed. Casting quality wasn't perfect and I had to replace the thumb with a blade from another chaos kit but other than that it was easy enough to clean up.

Hey. thanks for the comments. Latest up is some more Infinity.

First up is a Shasvastii Noctifier from the Combined Army Faction.

Heres the fluff:

The Tactical Domain Special Wing forms the operative core of the Shasvastii Expeditionary Forces. The Noctifers, as they are called by humans thanks to their predilection for night actions, can fully exploit their special combat qualities. These creatures have been created for stealth and cruelty. They are experimental soldiers, willing to fight until the end and to resort to the most dirty tricks to win a battle. Moving like invisible demons along the front, Noctifers remain undetected until the moment they attack with all their race’s characteristic malice and wickedness.

I have also restarted painting the Aleph for an upcoming tournament. This is what I have done so far:

I aim to have another 7 models completed over the next couple of weeks to round out my 250 point army.

This weeks addition is the Aleph Naga. Heres the fluff:

The conditions on Paradiso require troops with special training and abilities, able to adapt to this savage planetary ecosystem. The duty of the Nagas in the Special Situations Section is to launch offensive operations independently or in tandem with regular forces, striking into enemy-held territory by ground, water or air.

Since their creation, they have performed numerous raids with great success thanks to their first class stealth, night combat and terrain navigation techniques. They also work as a special exploration unit, using advanced cartographic devices to acquire a better environmental knowledge than that of native inhabitants. Nagas are also prepared to run Direct Action and early enemy contact operations. They use non-conventional warfare techniques in all of its forms, both guerrilla and anti-guerrilla warfare, Evasion and Escape, sabotage, counter-terrorism, and their specialty, jungle combat. Since the opening of the Paradiso front, they have built up an incredible reputation in high-risk operations against the Combined Army. Trained on Acontecimento and forged in Paradiso’s emerald jungle, Nagas perfectly identify themselves with the reptilian Hindu mythical beings they are named for. Their greatest virtue is the element of surprise, displaying a disconcerting genius to always appear where a hole in the enemy’s defense exists. Their extraordinary capacity for rapid strike actions in any type of hostile territory makes them unique, not only for the Section, but also for those who fight at their side.

Next up will be some Dakinis...
