Hey. This will be the last of these simplistic questions I post up, but would like this answered: Do Dark Angels offer any variety?
I've heard that the regular Troops and Fast Attack choices are all over-priced, so people are essentially limited to Deathwing and Ravenwing forces. As both these play types use pre-set squads, do the Dark Angels offer any variety at all? Or is it just three identical Ravenwing squadrons paired with teleporting termies, all the time?
Is it viable to include several extra vehicle and troop choices within a Ravenwing and Deathwing army? (e.g. having some RW and DW squads, with two or three Predators, a dreadnought, and some regular marines, or something of the like?)

Playing Dark Angels is like playing regular Marines with difficulty level set on 'Hard'. Almost everything they have is either more expensive or works worse compared to Vanilla Marines book, or is missing altogether.

Deathwing/Ravenwing do offer some nice customability and some options that other Marine books don't have, or have to pay more from. So it's not all hopeless.

Mr Vetock, give back my Multi-tracker!

You should have probably asked these all in one thread.

I'll say what I said in the last thread: Don't take tactical Marines, assault Marines, Librarians or scouts. The tanks are generally pretty decent and cost about the same as they do in Codex: Space Marines. Deathwing and Ravenwing are good.
