a basic drop pod plasma/melta spook list. just looking for any tweaks. my gaming group has changed the tournament formats to be more like GT's. so composition went out the window.
now i just have to pick this list or my demonbomb/siren marines.

1. You can't have a familiar if you have terminator armor

2. The combi plasma is a waste on a librarian

3. And on the sgt. That's alot of points

I just don't think it's got the firepower to do it. Once people figure out how to deploy to make the 12" range of the drop ineffective, you're hosed.

4. why is the epi so much better then the codi ? just wondering.

extra leadership (for psychic hood rolls and morale) and extra wound... Not to mention Fury of Ancients is way better than a boler-plasma... As a matter of fact, Librarians should really never require a shooting weapon

Well he can't actually upgrade the Sergeant in the terminator command squad to an apothecary, vets and tactical squads only. . .
And yes Apothecary Stacking is quite pleasant. . . so far my best has been 4 squads of 6 stacking each other but I used Plasma Cannons, Plasma guns, and Uphold the Honor of the emperor. It worked pretty well, I just had to shatter the enemies assault squads first. . .

well first of, its illegal.  You might want to read what flesh over steel does again.  If you're going to drop pod with apothecaries, you either only take a normal terminator squad, using aspire to glory, or only take one speeder squadron, using eye to eye.  Personally i use aspire to glory as my major disadvantage as i think speeders give you some speed to deal with anything that runs away from your initial drop.

Two librarians looks a bit overkill to be honest.  I I think you're ok with just the epistolary in there.  The codicer can be dropped fora another tornado and some more guys.
