Hi. I wanted to ask if this was legal. Instead of forest goblins on the spiders for the Spider Rider unit, if I could convert it by putting Night Goblins on there instead?

I doubt I can because there are no options for it so it might go against the rules, but I wanted to double check anyway. I know a lot of people do a lot of converting, so I was wondering how it really works out? Would I be able to convert the Spider riders to have NG's riding the spiders instead? Using the rules for the NG's of course.

I just want to make sure if I do that, that I won't have a rules issue in a tournament.

You can only change the rules if your opponent lets you.


So, No its not legal in a normal setting, but if your group says its ok then its ok.

I'm actually unsure why you would want to use Night Goblin rules... they have worst WS and BS.

Night goblins have identical WS and BS to common goblins. They have one worse leadership, one better initiative. If I were you, I'd convert the night goblins on, and just use the normal rules. Looks cool, doesn't invent new rules.
