Despite my hefty post load I've only recently started collecting 40k miniatures (a few months now, focusing on Chaos then Eldar). As part of my Chaos Horde I bought a pack of 5 Plaguebearers off GW's website. Getting them in the mail today....They came basically fully assembled. I just had to glue 1 hand on a guy and then put them on their bases. Took a combined total of 5 minutes.

What's the deal with this? I mean I hate putting together metal as much as the next guy but I'm frankly surprised GW basically gives them to you pre-assembled. Anybody know of other models that come like this?

My Armies:
5,500pts
2,700pts
2,000pts

A new day, a new time zone.

What exactly do you mean by preassembled? Do you mean that someone put the models together for you before you got them?

"-Nonsense, the Inquisitor and his retinue are our hounoured guests, of course we should invite them to celebrate Four-armed Emperor-day with us..."

They are mostly one piece minis like most metal rank and file figs. Personal that why I love metal figures just plonk em on a base and your good to go as opposed to GWs current 8 piece kits for a single rank and file (feth you whfb whitelions).

I got a box of the orignal necormunda cawdor gangers the other day and it was a joy to work with metal figs gain and they feel so much better when your playing.

Damn I cant wait to the GW legal team codex comes out now there is a dex that will conquer all.
