Vindicators, skyclaws and plasmas in rear armor still worked well with tanks up to Leman Russes. And outflanking Wolf Priest with melta-bombs, as I think, will work too.

All he has to do is castle up, and you die :(

Or hell, if he gets first turn, just pop smoke.

Or even worse, you get first turn and he holds everything in reserve.... you roll for reserves first, and get your units in. Now he rolls in on his turn 2, and massacres you while you have no answer for his tanks :(

You need meltas / long fangs.

That's why I want to take an Iron Priest for experiment.

And I've ALREADY have beaten 2 squadronss of 2 Leman Russes with Basiliisk in battle, but only with Rune priest instead of scouts and Wolf priest going with Skyclaws.

I accuse the guy with the russes and basilisk of being a poor tactician then -__-

No worse then I, But sure he had some bad shots, but wiped out 2/3 of my forces until I got close to him, where krak grenades all my troops had made his tanks make a "BOOM" one after another.

The point is - if you have totally mech army, I use combat squads and going HtH, if mixed, then dedicated tank killers (skyclaws & vindicators, and now scouts) are really enough.TOTALLY non-SM style, but it comes handy.
