Hey everyone I just thought I'd give a heavy conversion a shot to see if I could, in the past I've done the basics like swapping out weapons etc but nothing as extensive.

I thought I'd give a Nurgle based Marauder a go as I had an old Empire/Bretonian archer sitting in my bits box and because greenstuffing rotting things is fun.
I read through the photography guide and did the best I could although I think a few of the shots came out a little to bright, I've included a few different versions with different exposures etc

I'll explain how I did it and what I used in later posts

Anyway here he is, let me know what you think:

I like it. That eye seems to follow me around the desk I'm sitting at. Nice bit of spine showing too. Slimy base .

Cheers thanks, I was trying to go for later stage Nurgles rot, I remember reading in the fluff somewhere that if you're 'lucky' with Nurgles rot you'll turn into a plaguebearer at the end.
So the thinking was that his bulging eye is in the process of migrating towards the centre of his head and the bulge on the top of his head will eventually erupt into a horn.

Thanks again although I think i screwed the spine up a bit if you look it doesn't quite anatomically line up with where it should in relation to his hips would be

I think having a spine that doesn't line up properly when you've got Nurgle's Rot is the last of your problems .

Those axes are really familiar but I can't quite place them, what are they from? One of the old plastic kits, right?

The axes are from the old plastic orks that came with one of the old 40k boxsets I think.
