First time post long time reader. I have a question that I cant really find out via the rule book or codex. Does anyone know if someone using a personal teleporter (interceptors) can teleport (using Shunt) from inside a vehicle (Stormraven). I cannot find anything saying they cant but I cannot find anything saying you can, what do you guys think?

I'm not that familiar with the GK 'dex. However, you'll never find anything telling you what you can't do (there are a very few exceptions). 40K is a permissive rule set, which means it only tells you what you can do.

That being said, from my understanding, if the stormraven hasn't moved, it shouldn't be a problem (disembark and then shunt). But, I can't really answer more than that.

Well if you are able to teleport out of it then there are no rules saying you cant teleport after it goes flat out?

A shunt is a move IIRC.

So once the SR goes flat out the embarked units can only move via Shadow Skies.

The would not be able to shunt out of a flat out transport.

Since shunt is counted as a move you should be able to shunt before the vehicle moves, since normal troops can disembark and move before the vehicle moves.

After the vehicle moves restricts the embarked passengers from moving any further, other than to disembark.

ok cool thank you, I was thinking the teleporting may actually be a way around the disembark rule beacuse it wasnt a conventinal disembark but it looks like your right at least it sounds like it anyways. Thanks for the help guys.
