Hi Guys!

Was feeling a bit sick of painting BA's so took a stack of random bits and threw them together to make an Ultramarine Sternguard Veteran Marine.

I had been watching some guides on wet blending and gave it a go on the armour, red straps on the gun and the red chainsword guard. I think I should have done the contrast in the blending much stronger e.g. from black to ice blue. I went from Regal Blue to Ice Blue and the change wasn't noticeable enough esp in the pictures.

Anyway any feedback would be appreciated or if anyone else has wet blended any Ultramarine armour please give me any tips on getting more contrast.

Forgive me for the photo quality, all pics are taken from my phone (its all I have to work with .

Great looking model, I with you on painting marines in different colors, sticking to one color can get old, that's why I paint them in duel color.

Check out my little ork story I am working on here!

The head and base look fantastic, and nothing looks bad. The armor does look a little dull, I would suggest doing a bit of highlights, but other than that, great work!
