My friend just picked up Necrons
And we have some questions about resurrection
If they were killed by a weapon that doubles their T do they still get a roll to stand back up?

Now we have not seen a rule that says they do not. ( so we have been playing they always get a rez unless the unit is gone )
But we were talking fluff; if a rocket blows a Necron warrior to bits how would it get back up?

So can they get a resurrection after a double T attack?

Thanks for the answers

It used to be that double toughness weapons did not allow WBB unless within range of a Rez Orb. AFAIK RP still apply even on ID.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

you get your RP roll nearly always.

You dont get RP if;

1. your unit has been completely wiped out.

2. the unit was caught in a sweeping advance.

3. The unit is falling back.

IIRC those are the only times you dont get RP.

YMDC has plenty of room for discussion veering away from the RAW, particularly in cases like this where what is being put forward as the RAW is absurd.
