Pack #1 is exclusive to IDWs booth at San Diego Comic Con in July. If you want both you need to go to 2 different booths.

Holy Moly, those Baratheon's look amazing. Cannot wait for Asmodee to release them in the UK, sell out and then see them be out of stock for the next six months.

Man... being an ASoIaF fan is such a rollercoaster at times. Amazing game and loads of amazing decisions which keep it a fun, diverse, and balanced game.... and then we just hit these complete lulls in releases.

Its already been a month since literally anything released for the game, and urgently needed boxes like Free Folk and Night's Watch Heroes #1 are just in perpetual limbo. And yet... here's a peek at some killer August releases too...

I totally agree with your assessment.
My FLGS claims that his stockist is telling him July 14 for the next ASOIAF releases (Ranger Trackers and Followers of Bone).
Meanwhile there are eBay painting shops that are selling painted versions of the unreleased Night's Watch and Free Folk Heroes #1 boxes for roughly $400...

Well, and it speaks weirdly of CMoN when they do press-releases hyping unit releases that were parts of the faction's starter a year ago... while key elements have been shown, spoiled and seen, eight month back, that don't even have release estimates.

Its literally my favorite game out there right now, but I wish GW was the one producing/supplying it.... which is weird to say, as literally everything else around the game is just top tier.

If your FLGS is right, and one of only two releases in a two month period is a unit we've all had for a year... i'll be a sad panda.

If I'm not in the US, is there any chance to get those boxes or are they extremely limited quantity ?

CMON is saying that everyone will have a chance to pick up these Zombicide TMNT boxes 'eventually' and "at a convention near you".

WHY they're not just making them available online during the various conventions where they'd be available in person is...beyond me.

But maybe if enough people ask...

Usually pretty hard to get as most comic con exclusives are only a print run of a 100-200. People that will end up with them will have expensive preview night tickets that get them in the night before Comic Con actually starts just to buy exclusives. My wife use to do this several years ago when she went annually and would maybe get 2-3 things as the lines where usually 30min long and there's only a few hours to shop so you have to pick and choose. Anything not sold that night will be available to regular badge holders the next day. You'll probably be able to find them on ebay for $100-$150 while Comic Con is going on. CMoN could surprise and do a huge volume but then why make it a San Diego exclusive as they probably wouldn't sell out (it's not a very big table top convention) and most people buying them will be TMNT fans and probably never even heard of zombiecide and will most likely just throw them in a box to try and resell years later at a huge markup as is the case with most SDCC exclusives.

Given their previous inability to get WoK and Dark Age into stock anywhere, and their current problems with ASoIaF which should be generally available with no limits I can see why they'd shy away from a limited time release

much as I wish they would offer them (I was also going to say their webstore had been gone so long I doubt it was coming back, but on checking it's meant to relaunch is August, and I wonder what it will have at that point)

Too bad these are for zombiecide. I was hoping they might make a more 'regular' version of Krang for the IDW game, but I suppose that will be in the next kickstarter.

Beats changing it to the new style, at least. And I suppose that means if they do a third installment to the Fantasy line, it'll be the original art, so that's something.

Miniature Market has started advertising for a sale to compete with Prime Days for your money. This sunday at some point (probably 9-10am CST) the 14th -19th and have been advertising ASOIAF and other games as "the lowest prices of the year". I know they had the starter box for a ridiculous price last black Friday so maybe this will be similar or better.

Edit: it's the Asmodee amnesty sale where they can go lower then the minimum discount. So anything they distribute I guess.

Interesting!

I wonder if Mini Market will be offering anything else worth considering...

Dark Age would be worth considering...

Urusei Yatsura, Cerebus the Aardvark, Machiavelli, Plato and Happy Days. So, how was your childhood?

Except we already know that Mini Market is 'stealth selling' all the stock they bought on eBay... :(

well at least that mean it's available to buy, unlike when it was hidden away in CMONs warehouse....

even if it isn't as cheap as it would be at MM central

(well for US residents anyway)

I'd wondered about the "stealth selling" on eBay.

I have my suspicions as to which seller it is too, as there's really only one store that has anything in stock, and aren't really willing to haggle over some of the way too overpriced of items.

Honestly I wish they'd put it on the actual store so I could at least get free shipping if they won't budge on the prices.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

I hope it is 'official' steal selling too,

rather than an employee pilfering stuff to sell in a big way as was reported to be the cause of the War Store's closure. I'd never have thought that much stock could wander but it apparently did in a huge way

I'm guessing MM is probably more on top of their boxes of random stuff, and buying from a still functional company like CMON should have meant an itemised inventory (or close to one), unlike what you might get from a failed business being sold off to clear debts, but you never know

That part that amazes me is the Micro Arts Studio plastic bases. I tried for years to buy them from CMON, but when their shop showed inventory and I placed an order it would be cancelled and refunded...with MM I was able to get the 10-15 packs I had been trying to buy since their KS. Just amazing.

And yes, if MM would put the Dark Age stuff on their main site, even near the full retail price, I would probably purchase another half a dozen boxes.

Also, may or may not go nuts on the ASOIAF stuff. A second starter set may be a nice addition, but really I'm waiting for the Dothraki..

Hey, shellheads! Looks like many of you are eager to crack some zombie skulls, but unable to make it to SDCC or GenCon, right? Then we have good news for you!

You’ll be able to pre-order the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Zombicide packs via IDW’s webstore between July 17 and August 10, 2019!

The link to the store will be shared the day that the packs go live. Act fast as supplies are limited!

I like how there is such a long preorder period. We all know they'll be gone by the end of the 15th.

Hopefully they'll keep doling them out over that time period at random intervals so lots of folks can have a chance to get them.

I wouldn't mind.

Would be nice if Black Plague character sheets were included as well. Doesn't seem like it would be that hard to modify them either rules- wise.
