****! their above us!

Hi
I was wondering if you guys could help me with some painting as I am not very good at it.
My question is, How would you reccomend storing a mix of colours if Im going to be using a lot of it over a period of time. Would pouring the paints ratio in to an empty paint pot and mixing it up work?Or is that too crude? I am looking for something quite simple
Any help much appreciated

Yeah, it's as simple as that as long as your container is air-tight... assuming you're reusing the same paint pots you bought paint in, chances are they would work just fine. The only thing I avoid, like the plague, is reusing the GW paint bottles... they're gak.

I save/use my old empty vallejo paint bottles for just this occasion though. The squirt applicator lets you easily dispense the paint anywhere you need it and it's nice and air tight for storage. I mix / thin paints for airbrushing in these in large batches so I have what I need and my colors are consistant. It also helps they're cheap.

I use a couple of syringes to make my paint mixes up (one for each colour).

Measure out xml of one colour, then do the same with another.

Squirt into empty and clean paint pot and give them a very good shake for several minutes (in my case, strap them to my vibration plate - resin casting accessory) to thoroughly mix.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
