Hey folks,

Trying to extend my daemon army a bit, and I'm looking at getting a heap of Fiends for it, ideally around 8-10. Problem being, 10 would cost £138 from GW, and additionally, I really dislike the models.
Has anyone found any nice models to proxy them, or an idea for how to convert them?

A friend of mine mixed Daemonette bodys with WHFB Forest Goblin Spider Riders

The effect was really nice.

I use the plastic Syhar Sighthounds. If you wait for sales you can get them for a pretty reasonable price, otherwise $4 a model from Miniature Market (http://www.miniaturemarket.com/confrontation-scorpions-syhar-sighthound-unit-box.html).

They look great, and are already on the correct-size base.

I also use them as Dark Eldar Khymera.

I use the demonette upper body spliced onto the ravener tails. The looks excessively awesome. Much like insane medusa's.
