So I just got a computer, it was re-furbished. whenever I try to start it up, or reset it to factory settings, it'll start working but after a while my T.V will go black, and pop up saying "60 seconds until automatic shut down." My T.V has never done that before, unless It's not doing anything for over an hour. And yes, the computer is hooked up to my T.V not a normal computer monitor. Any help would be nice.

Take it to a PC repair shop?
It sounds like the graphics card or motherboard might be fried.
I had a similar thing happen, without the pop-up mind you.

I was hoping no one would say take it to a repair shop....

Have you got another cable you can use? It'd make sure the connection between the PC and TV is fine to start with. No point in lugging a PC around if all you need is a new cable.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

If I had to speculate I'd say motherboard/video card. You might open it up and check to see if there are any blown capacitors on either of the boards. They're a dead giveaway for a bad component.

Gunna really need the specs of the computer you have...
Try hooking it up to a normal computer monitor and see if the problem persists.
If this solves the problem my guess would be that the computer is starting up or defaulting to onboard video which isn't capablel of displaying on your monitor.
