im looking for vote on smaller 40k armies like dark eldar, i most likly won't choose necrons but all vote are welcome just write a reply please, thankyou I like darkeldar IG right now but i want to c what others like and i realyy cant pick from the 2 and i dont have much money very little to none so also which is cheaper but mostly for look s vote vote vote please and thankyou

You should probably lurk a little more before posting. Here's some tips:
1. Never capslock your thread titles, and in doing so make sure your grammar is good. A good title would be "Help me pick an army" or something not so abrasive.

2. Never use colored text like that. The red text vibrates against the grey background on Dakka and kind of makes my eyes bleed. Just stick to standard text.

3. Please work on your grammar. Your post is nigh-incomprehensible as it is right now. Punctuation, capitalization, and complete sentences help a lot.

As for your actual question, say what you do and don't like about any given army and we can help you decide. Just saying "help me pick" without giving us much to work from makes it kind of hard to help.

Judging from your profile pick your "normal" SM is Grey Knights which is a pretty cost effective army. Anyway to the matter at hand...

For 500 pt. games that's most likely just HQ + Troop. I would say Orks but you say horde armies aren't your type. Necrons don't perform to well at lower point games so I wouldn't have even put that in for consideration. Which leaves us with IG, DE, Eldar, Tau, and Chaos SM. Tau tend not to perform that well overall except in the hands of a really really good player (I've known only one Tau player who could ever hold his own against any army). IG I'm not sure of, but I guess with some chimeras would be decent for 500 pt. DE I would imagine would be pretty good at this with their fast open topped transports and fairly high initiative across the board. Eldar I would imagine would be good at low point games as well for similar reasons as DE minus the open topped transports but still they can be a fast army.
Chaos SM, Let's see, a DP with some berzerkers or plague marines in rhinos? sounds like a blast to me.
