The weather is going to be ridiculously bad, thus slowing play down and making a kicking game almost impossible.

Good news for us Scots, as we ALL hate dan parks ANYWAY (dont get me started on the fanny)

the way i see it is its going to be down to who does the basics best, and bearing in mind England have a very inexperienced side (in international rugby) and their captain himself only has 1 cap, i think Scotland will win.

it'll be another low scoring affair, as we have become used to seeing at Murrayfield, as Scotland tend to lock up the defence and rely on kicking the points, rather than running them, but with weather conditions set to be the way they are, i can see a very inexperienced England side being outplayed in the rucks and the breakdowns. Scotland also have a huge front row (im unaware of the current England pack size) but i think only Italy have a bigger pack than Scotland pound for pound, and this could be key.

im going 12-3 Scotland

I mean... like SO many positive waves... maybe we cant lose!

Dan Parks isn't awful: He just isn't Patterson( except Parks actually has a slightly longer range than Patterson).
Now for the game I want a repeat of the 100-8 win we had against Japan a few years ago. (I caught Patterson's conversion which brought it to 100 pts)

That was a lovely game.

I reckon Scotland to win it. I'm going for 18-12.

I think experience and tenacity will make for a Scots win. That's hard to say, as an Englishman, but it's true. Plus, Scotland have a setled set up and a point to prove. England have been totally unsettled and have an inexperienced side. Be interesting to see Owen Farrell though...

Well, that went well. England managed to play like Scotland usually do and Scotland manage to fuble every chance they get. Business as usual.

Dan Parks kicking was awful for most of the game.

The Weather was also much better than expected, which changed the game around alot.

What a shower!! Two bald men fighting over a comb! They'll be watching this game in New Zealand for many a long year as an example to their youth sides on how NOT to play rugby. Dire stuff.

spot on.

neither side showed any zip, fight or any desire in honesty

parks was abysmal, cussiter was fairly lively at the start, but dropped off, and was eventually replaced by blair (thankfully) as for as for lee jones' debut, did he even touch the ball? i cant recall seeing anything of him....

To summarise.... it was an awful game

@Wee_Tam

England were poor, but as least by blooding new players you can see a method to their thinking a la building for 2015, but Scotland.... To think they were charging fifty quid for that shambles!!

I would not be surprised if scotland do not score a try this entire championship.
