I have recently cancelled my WD subscription (it's pointless when I don't play 40k anymore) and want to get a subscription to NQ
what I want to know is what is no quarter about? I know it releases new teir lists but what else does it do??
is it anything like WD??

Ok thanks I might get it.
What sort of articles are in it?

Yes, Yes, Yes.

And lots of stuff for new models, rules, expansions etc. Custom tier lists, stat reveals and so forth.

Thanks for the help I will definately try to get it now.

I'd argue, it's like WD, but okay.

In the last couple years, actual content (fluff, background, rules, other stuff that isn't glorified ads*) has been roughly halved**, and the price has gone up.

Theme lists are great, but I dropped my subscription a few issues back because of how consistently disappointed I've been: I realized that I was spending close to a dollar per page of content I cared about.

*battle reports (which have either been thrown or played incompetently), building armies, previews
**yes, I did the math, with several issues in both cases

They have little find the caster kill articles. Sorta like the chess find checkmate. They have little articles for Iron Kingdoms RPG. Battle Reports. Hobby section with painting and terrain building.

I picked up their back issues that they had a sale on. I don't regret it.

Thanks I like the sound of terrain building as I don't really have an warmahordes scenery yet.
I will probably get a subscription (need to persuade my dad)

i picked up a subscription a few months back from miniature market, and i've been happy with it. yea, i wish there was a bit more fluff compared to say the battle reports, but overall i've felt it money well spent (i loved the article about what mulgs runes said)

They still do them whenever DC drinks enough to write one.

Privateer Press recently had a sale on their old NQ issues in their online store - $1/each. A lot of them, if not most of them, were older, Mk1-era issues, but at $1 a piece it's still worth picking some up for the modeling/painting/terrain articles.
