So the situation was my Saurus + Scar Vet were charged by 2 mobs of Clan Rats + Chieftan. My ScarVet challenged the Chieftan, landing a wound and becoming Frenzied thanks to the Carnosaur Pendant.
My saurus lost combat and ran, but we were unsure whether the Scar Vet ran too because he was in a challenge and frenzied.
Should the Scar Vet have run too?

Any clarification would be great

Yes he runs, being frenzied and challenges do nothing to save you when the whole unit starts hoofing it.

He was part of the unit, so runs if they do

His unit (side) lost combat, so he loses Frenzy as well

The pendant is special though so he can never loose his frenzy.

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

So?

Fenzied just gives Immune to Psycology, which means they pass Fear, Terror, and Panic tests. It specifically says they take Break tests as normal.

ItP units simply can't Flee as a charge reaction. They can still their pants and run like chickens when they lose.

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

We already established that, i was pointing out a technicality as to the pendant.
