So, after it turned out that Space Marines were not for me, and Orks just weren't spiky enough, my newest path is Dark Eldar.
After a bizzare and head messing year, it kind of fits in well.
This blog will be filled with pictures of my Pirate Army, filled with mercenaries, and lead by Duke Siliscus (soon). Along side my girlfriend's force of heavily converted Wyches and Wracks (she's new to the hobby).

So, I guess I'll post the first few pieces.
The force will be based around a Webway portal with an ancient Haemonculus, while the Duke nips round the enemy with some Trueborn. I wrote the army list on here somewhere, if you're interested then I can post it here.

As it stands:

The colour scheme is nothing like any from 'Eavy Metal. More of a slight mish-mash, but still uniform. Without all the glowing bits. Next up comes a Haemonculus conversion.
Thoughts? C&C?

Could do with one other main colour on the troops, but I like the yellow-black armour.

Like the design.

So yeah, that's that so far. I'm verging on changing the list to a double Archon (Siliscus and standard) and dropping the grotesques.
I was thinking of placing the Archon in a unit of pirate-esq Mercenaries, based on Kroot models. Thoughts?

The daemonette/wytch conversions look pretty cool, how well do the wytch heads transfer onto the daemonette bodies?

i had to flatten the bottoms and round that of then i cut off the leather round their chins and gave the face some shape to make them fit in better with the style of the daemonette bodies. the whole process took quite a while to finish all 10 heads but that was mostly the face shaping.
