Only Saurus characters can take a Horned One, but other than that it looks fine. Use the points you save on a Dispel Scroll of the Diadem of Power. Both the same price and both very useful, although at 800 points the diadem might be a bit more useful.

Well baring my first point, the second remains valid. I think a Priest with the diadem would be more useful in this list. You don't want him charging into combat on his Horned One anyways.

Oh it's mainly just for the extra toughness, and so that it doesn't have to ride along side the saurus. (I'm sick of getting flanked, and them killing my wizard!)
