I am going to start FOW, does the new big rule book contain army lists in addition to the rules? Also, is red bear a good buy if I want to do a soviet mechanised or armored army? Thanks in advance!

The big rule book is actually three books in a sleeve. It contains some basic generic late war lists for the major armies. Yes red bear is a good buy for any late war soviet stuff. You might also want to check out easyarmy.com

I would read this...

You don't need to buy RED BEAR, there are late war Russian Lists in the V3 Forces Book (Russian Tank's, Motorised, Rifle companies). Don't waste your money.

Goto

Then at the top select filter: Select Source "Flames of War V3 Forces" and there you go you can now plan your Russian Force and budget for your army. (you will need to create a Login)

Cool Eh?

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!
