I think one of the benefits in the Pit is that successive posts are not automatically attached togeher. I did notice that the posts do attach in the Den. Is there any possibility that the Den can be switched over to the same settings as the pit?
No, it is a one off thing that was only done to prevent people complaining about the couple of huge threads in the pit when the autoappend was introduced. It is a nasty bit of code done in an ugly way that I dont want to expand upon. To clean it up would take a while without any significant benefits to the majority of dakka's users. Sorry!
