Necron Tournament List (1250)
This is a list i plan to bring to a tournament. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
It contains 4 troop choices that each have 2 Harbringer of Destructions with them.

HQ (720pts)
2x Necron Overlord w/ Warscythe, MSS, Catacomb Command Barge (390pts)
2x Harbringer of Destruction w/ eldritch lance, Solar Pulse (110pts)
5x Harbringer of Destruction w/ eldritch lance (175pts)
1x Harbringer of Destruction w/ eldritch lance, gaze of flame (45pts)


Troops (260pts)
The Necron Warriors are split into four groups of five, each of which travel with two Harbringer of Destruction.

Does it seem like you have perhaps too many points sunk into your HQ's? I mean, its lance-spam, and that's a lot of strong shots, but your warriors are gonna need to be carefully managed if you want a shot at winning a objectives game.

I'd suggest some more warriors honestly, but I could see your list doing well against almost everything

The 5 Av13 vehicles however, will be hard to deal with

Anti-Infantry?: check.

Potential?: ... despite your lack of Wraiths and Scarabs, this list looks amusing.

No, it's the other way around for the Wraith upgrades.
(you need more Whip Coils, one won't help at all)
... and for that matter, you need more Wraiths.
I'd be tempted to drop one Annihilation Barge and use the points to bump up your Wraiths to 6, with 3 Whip coils and 2 Casters (one naked).

Too bad there's no way to give your 2nd Overlord some MS Scarabs, too, but it might work.
(trust me on the Wraiths, man. You'll wish you could field 20 of them)

Does this list look better then? Also, i could sacrifice 1 whip coil and 1 particle caster to get the second overlord mindshackle scarabs.

You realize that you can only have one kind of Harbinger per Court? So max HoD's for non apoc is two.

Thats incorrect.
It specifically states in the Codex that you can have as many of the same type as youd like, in this case, harbingers of destruction.
But you may only have each of the special upgrades (Solar Pulse or Gaze of Flame) once per Court.

Eldritch lance comes with the upgrade to the Harbinger, so you can indeed spam these.

He can take two Pulses since he has two Overlords and therefore two courts.

Regardless, the army list is looking a LOT more competitive, now.
I'd say don't worry about the 2nd Overlord's MS Scarabs, at this point. If it comes down to keeping your Wraiths alive for longer versus negating one randomly chosen base-contact model's CC attack, go for the Wraiths.

I play tested the 3rd list with the 6 wraiths yesterday and it worked very well other than the terrible rolls i had on my crypteks. The Wraiths were in fact the saving grace to me coming out ahead in an annihilation game. I also am having issues with opponents bunching units in corners to prevent me from using sweep attacks with the command barge. The whole having to land more than 1 inch away from the unit i am flying over is annoying. I also am still trying to figure out if i can use symbiotic repair when i move flat out in the command barge and it gets immobolized which then becomes wrecked. I have looked all over the internet to only find arguments about this rule.

After more play with the above list i have come to the conclusion that having two HQ's is just too costly for the benefit. So i am dropping a command barge with the overlord and 4 Crypteks(including the 2nd solar pulse) to add more into fast attack which i feel is going to balance out this list quite a bit. Hopefully the scarabs can pick up for the tank killing power i lost. Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

I like it, pretty good way to round out this list. I would however make one suggestion.
I'd put maybe one squad of scarabs on the board with 10 bases, and use the remaining points to beef up your warrior squads a couple of models. Other than that, looks great.

I agree! I like the list and Im tempted to try it myself!
