Hey guys I'm getting ready for the BIG WAAAAGH and I couldn't be happier about it. I played my first 40k game last night and it didn't go well =/ (with gk's at 1k points) and I'm just kind of in need of some help I suppose. I love the idea of the battlewagon bash and the kan wall but I can barely find those and I'm kind of trying to find my way with orks. If you guys have any advice on what I could get to really launch the WAAAGH right then I would greatly appreciate it!

What do you mean you can't find battlewagons or kans? You mean your FLGS doesn't have them? You could easily order them through the store or find a place online like eBay or thewarstore.com to get them for cheaper.

If your meta is mech, you need lootas. You have 10 which is a good start, but more is better. Are all your boyz mobs led by nobz with power klaws + bosspoles? That's pretty much mandatory. Battlewagons with deffrollas are also an amazing way to demech an enemy, and are basically the best tank-hunting unit available to Orks.

Bah! I meant the lists! Like battlewagon bash or man wall. I'm definitely more interested in the battlewagon approach. I was gonna get 30 lootas go with 3 squads of 29 boys 1 nob power klaw bosspole 2 big meks so on and so on. I just wanted to get a direction for my next few purchases. Most of my area's tourneys are 2k so I figured I start there XD

Battlewagon lists center around battlewagons with deffrollas, armor plates, red paint job, grot riggers, and one big shoota. Inside should be a big mek with kff and either boyz or nobz. A wagon list should have 2-3 of those wagons and 2 kff meks. A kan wall should have 9 kans with grotzookas or rokkits with kff meks keeping them covered.
