The other day I just bought a bunch of miniatures at a flea market, including an undead army set from Crocodile Games:

At first I thought I had no use for these undead, but I now am thinking about using then as Plaguebearers and Heralds of Nurgle in my Chaos Daemons army. I think the current models for Plaguebearers are hideous, and I have been considering an alternative for awhile. I plan to use the unit of 10 as Plaguebearers, and the 2 leader guys on the right of the picture and the assassin in the middle as heralds. If I do use these undead, I plan to not use the shields (looks to much like fantasy) and file off the pegs for the shields, and paint them similar to the Plaguebearers color scheme (with greenish skin and bronze for the metal parts, and not any bright colors like their painting of them).

So, my question is, do you think these make acceptable alternatives for Plaguebearers? Do you think they will stick out to much in a Chaos daemon army in 40k, or will look out of place to opponents?

They're Egyptian-looking skeletons, I don't really buy the Plaguebearer counts-as. If you wanted to do Plaguebearers, I would recommend converting them with Greenstuff from Bloodletters, or doing something with zombies.

I think they are supposed to be Mummies. I could see it if you put some effort into painting and conversion.

I am not getting it myself. They seem more like a Necron Flayed one or something to me.
