Can an independent character, say in termi armor and a storm shield, take both his 2+ armor save and his 3+ invuln save from the same round of shooting? Say it's from a Falcon, and he gets 4 Scatter Laser wounds and 2 Pulse Laser wounds so 2 go through his armor but the other's don't. Does he have to use the same save for everything, and either take the wounds that pen his armor or work off the more difficult invuln?

You take the best save you can on a per wound bases, so if you can you take the 2+ armor but for ones that wont allow armor saves you take the 3++ invuln save.
