I have the book but not sure if any are usefull to use in games, like the War Hydra is for Dark Elves, or are they all poor usefullness like the monsters from the Beastmen book?

I am interested on the Warp dragon/Magma Dragon and the Firmir warriors (although ogres seem better for the points)

So, any monsters that stand out for power and usefullness?

My VC buddies went apeshit over the Necrofex, Im rather fond of the Warpfire dragon (on paper at least) and theres a couple other i might test out given the opportunity.

That's less useful and more "Undercosted to the point of everyone taking it"

I found a few good ones myself though, but it depends on what army I play.

I did, though mostly because I was planning to make something very similar. I was going to buy a giant, smother it in green stuff, and press various parts of different Fantasy soldiers into it, to make a fused together set of bodies in the shape of a body. When I read the description of the Necrofex Colossus, I may have let out a little 'eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!'.

The one that sticks out as being the best in the book for.me is the shard dragon its got a 2+ scaly skin and you can buy it magic resistance and a ward for pretty cheap and it has some pretty good rules .the dread saurian looks really inventive id love to see the model! you can make it ethereal!

Other notable mentions khemeric titan is really awesome its T8 W10 it does magic and wrecks if it rolls a 6 on its special attacks but alas only ws 2

arcane pheonix is amazing if you play HE because you can have 2 bsbs and its got.alot of rules which buff them

Lastly the elemental incarnate of death it doesn t attack it steals souls and can go.past its starting wounds when.it absorbs life.

Yeah, the Shard dragon looks like a winner, just have to find a model for it (or wait for the FW model to be released), i also like the Warpfire drag rules but to have it as a mage would be very costly

The magma dragon looks pretty tough too (it's breath weapon looks particularly nasty)
