Subject: Storm eagle - very annoying to build

So I have gotten my storm eagle early and being keen I've started the building.
At one point you have a floor and two sides to put on and the front door has to be in place too.
How would you guys go about this? I tried putting one side on and leaving it for a while then attempting the other side. However it simply makes the dry side fall off. The sides are too long to do most of the techniques I've come up with.
Right now it's sitting with socks in the middle and lots of elastic bands to brace the two sides but I fully expect this to lead to the two sides not pointing straight so the roof won't go on well.
I need help before I throw it out of the window! Please!

I'd dry fit whatever part has to go on and rubber band it up. It's always a fiddly bit of construction, the Valkyrie is also a bit awkward like this.

Plastic card. Cut several to the width of the inside and then use elastics. Put the roof on dry while it's gluing to make sure everything is straight.

are you saying all the sides have to go together at once? Tape is a good idea, so are clamps.

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.

It's pretty much a floor with two sides that need to be put on very straight then a roof section which is at the rear goes on top of that.
I've done a botch job, might need some filler but it's as good as I'll get for now.
The instructions leave a lot to be desired.

The instructions for most FW kits leave much to be desired.
Nothing new there.
Just a question. How MANY resin models have you put together before? It's important, as the FW kits shouldn't be attempted by someone without the necessary skills.

You probably also want to make sure the model has been completely washed to remove any mold release agent or anything else that might be on the model before gluing. Once you've super-glued it, "dry sides" shouldn't just fall off.
