You need an aircraft canopy. Lucky for you there is a thriving market in after-market third-party vac-formed acetate canopies out there (the ones that come as standard in model kits do not satisfy the diehard rivet-counters (traditional hard-core scale modellers). Check with a decent-to-good dedicated model store (not, for the love of pete, a mediocre games store). Model stores tend to have a better range of that stuff. Depending on the aircraft, and the vintage (time period) your scale might be different for the needed canopy. I did have a 1/72 scale Mirage 2000 canopy that seemed to fit the piranha model I had (frak knows where it is now, though) - but a WW2 prop-driven antique might be too small.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

There is a method for making your own custom vac-formed canopies.

The video is just the first one I found on Google.
The method can be used for small scale kits. You can read about it in aircraft modelling books.
