Are Crons subject to Night Fighting Rules when they pop it or just my army?

For example a kid popped his against me... I had to do the whole 2 d6 thing but he was shooting me normally.

It is activated on any players turn and it lasts for that turn only. So if it was activated in your turn you would have to roll for NF distance but in his turn he would be able to shoot normally.

I am bumping this...

I played with a different Cron player today and he said it lasts one full game turn no matter whos turn it is activated in... For example

It is my turn in the bottom of turn 1 of the game the cron player says he popped it then next turn even tho its top of 2 the cron player has to do night fighting also...

There was another Cron player today and he said it has to be activated in the cron players turn and lasts one full turn... So out of the 3 possible ways to play this what is it?

Based on this, it is used on either player turn and lasts for the player turn.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

I'm afraid your buddies are wrong. It lasts for one *player* turn. If your dudes are playing it something different they're breaking the rules.

This isn't esoterica, usmc, by now this is a well-defined piece of gear.

The solar pulse last for 1 player turn. Imohtek's Nightfighting lasts for an entire game turn.

Or if your really lucky Imotekh's ability lasts the entire game.

But the above posters are correct when a rule says turn it means player turn unless specified otherwise.

Nah, dude, it's not obvious on first reading. Just saying this isn't one of the contentious rule interpretations, it's well defined. Many aren't.

It's covered on the first page of the main rulebook FAQ. The use of the word "turn" means player's turn unless noted otherwise.
