The standard Space Marine dreadnought comes with an assault cannon, missile launcher, lascannon and Dreadnought close combat weapon. There are options for a stormbolter or heavy flamer to go under the fist. There are two different sarcophagus covers and a few purity seals.

I've tried before to find pictures of Dreadnought sprues on Google as well, without any luck. All of the images I could find were Venerable, with the odd Ironclad. I'm looking to get a vanilla Dread, but I'd like to check out modelling options first before I buy.

You mean like: [quoteand includes enough parts to make: an assault cannon, a twin-linked lascannon, a powerfist and a missile launcher.
Also should have a storm bolter and heavy flammer, IIRC.

Why do you keep it from us? (Or, why did you keep it from me, when I played your game?)

The Multi-melta is ONLY on the Black Reach dread.
It's a poxy sculpt on a poxier one (not a fan of the AoBr dread - but 4 out of 6 of mine are the old 2nd edition metal versions [they look like the current ones, only made out of metal and they weigh a lot more].
I got mine when it was metal and ONLY available on a BLOOD ANGEL dreadnought (early/mid 90s). It's not a new thing for GW to have specific options only on specific box sets.
The Venerable is the only (GW PLASTIC kit) to include the plasma cannon option, the BA dread kit is the only one to include BOTH arm DCCW, etc.

My local club let me open the 3 diffrent boxes of dreadnoughts and other SM vehicles. Not much inside unfortunately. The multi melta is beast on a dread. My friend let me borrow his drop pod and dreadnought (AOBR) for a 1000point game. Wrecked 2 razorbacks with the MM before being wrecked by a lucky bolter shot from behind lol.

the AoBR don't have the options of the normal dreds, but ebay is your friend, i've bought 3 AoBR boxes so have 3 dreds there and another 3 for around $12-15 shipped each. then bought las cannons, assault cannons, and missle launcher bits for a few bucks each (usually $3ish) then clipped the stub, added magnets and bam versital cheap dreds
