so picked up some germans last night. was wondering if anyone can help me build a list... this is what i have......

5 Tiger 1E tanks
12 Panzer IV H tanks
352nd Infanteridivision Festungskompanie
7.5 cm Pak 40 Tank gun platoon
Sperrverband Infantry Company

Looks like You have core for a Late War Panzerkompanie with a small infantry (pioneer) support.

HQ - 2 Panzers IV H
Two Combat platoons each with 5 PzIV H
Schwere Panzer platoon - 1-2 Tigers
PAK 40 are not available in this list. And if You grab some transports for Sperrverband, then they can serve either as Panzerpioneers or Gepanzerte Panzerpioneers - I dunno whats in their box and cant locate such box on Battlefront online store.

With those units, you could also easily do a Grenadierkompanie, (or motorized Panzergrenadiers if you're okay with ditching the trucks, which really isn't a that big of a deal in a lot of cases). With Grenadiers or Panzergrenadiers you'd be able to use the Pak40s as well, and have some of the tanks in support.

Basically you could make any list you wanted aside from armoured infantry.

this was the break down within the boxes

10 command teams / 5 upgrade to panzerfaust
4 sniper teams
3 panzerschrek
6 pioneer rifle mg
4 hmg
3 flamethrower
1 supply truck
3 8cm mortar
3 light mortar
1 puppchen team
18 MG
2 goliath demo
2 r35 bunkers
4 MGtobruks

Wow. Yeah, really any list could be thrown up for this. The Ersatz Pionierkompanie list from Grey Wolf would be a great start. No use for the Pak40s in most Pioneer lists.

On the other side, you could easily put together a straight Panzer list, or a combined force using armies like the 2. & 5. SS lists.

Well, they say that it is easier to start and to learn game mechanics with a Tank Company. I dunno how much Your infantry box will be pointwise, but 12 Pz IV H's will get You 1210 points and I can bet that You will paint them faster than infantry.

Thanks for all the input I also picked up 2 packs of leFH 10.5 cm 18 Howitzers and 2 packs of 12.2cm Howitzers for 4 total arty now...Wittman and Panzergrendier Platoon with the 4 sdKfz 251D

You could have saved some money by buying Plastic Soldier Company 215/1D halftracks.

I got these from a store that is going out of business, and got them 40% off. Basically I have gotten everything from 40-50%, but ya I started looking at PSC

Lucky bugger, I hate You . But I should not complain, cause I once got the Baneblade kit for roughly for 25 pounds under similar conditions. PSC is actually quite good - their infantry is a bit fragile, but You can't go wrong with their vehicles.

I hate that a company goes out of business, I do feel bad for them, but I would be an idiot not to take advantage of their costs.... I may go back by today and see what they have left, if anything....anything german LW I should look for?

At 40-50% discount? Almost anything - Panthers, Tigers, 251 modifications - 251/2 (mortar), 215/9 Stummel, 251/7 Pioneer, Kubelwagens for observerteams (these are handy to have), Sfz 15 cars for Artillery/Pioneer Command teams, maybe Sfz 70 (to transport PAK 40 or as transports for Panzergrenadiers/Panzerpioneers - when You don't have enough points to go Gepanzerte with 251/1), anti air - 10/5, 7/1 armored versions, Recon - Pumas, 250/1s. If in doubt - write it down and ask here later.

Grey Wolf book if they have it.

Not really sure what your after here, you have so much you could pretty much make alot of different lists and proxy them.

12 Panzer IV H's make an amazing Panzer List, forget the heavies, just take some big platoons of these with AAA and Recon and maybe some arty and Infantry, but Priority must be AAA and RECON 1st and anything else if you can squeeze it in.

You have so much, just pick a list you like and create it and play test it.
