Hi folks.
Tis not quite finished yet - need details and finishing.... then there's the deffrolla (soon).

I used some of the new GW paints for this. Specifically 'Death World Forrest' base, 'Tallarn Sand' layer, and 'Agrax Earthshade' shade.

The 'shade' is much more substantive and sticky than the old washes. The base mixed with flow-enhancer seems to be really good - clear coverage, good pigmentation. The layer seems basically the same as old GW paints, maybe slightly easier to work with. Don't think I'll ever get used to the new pots though, they just don't sit open!

Anyway here's some pictures. I'm redoing checks black and white, adding some coloured details and weathering and tidying up the ram damage (even though that won't be used much). All the turrets, guns, ram/rolla will be magnetized.

Very nice so far, especially the weathering. My only suggestion is to add a little color variation. Like a red flag, checker armor plate etc. Orks cant focus on one paint scheme long enough to finish a battle wagon.

Thanks - deffo agree. I'm thinking of replacing the checks with black & white ones, then adding some blue and yellow features too.
