i am a professional oil paint artist and i paint portraits, i am however not a professional miniature artist but i have been made aware the level they are painted to is base coat level which is a personal preference

TBH, those pictures in your gallery are the low end of table top quality. No shading, no highlighting, just basecoat for everything.

thats a fair comment, i didnt say i was a professional miniature artist i am a professional oil painting artist......maybe you might like to view the oil paintings on the same site, but for base coat paint i would suggest they are not bad, and a few layers too which bring out the colours, my personal choice is bold base colours not wash and murky effects...like i say personal choice. i am not here to rate my painting of miniatures though i must admit i thoroughly enjoyed painting them, i am simply putting forward to people who love miniature gaming that there are 40 miniatures with .......now (in your own words) a low level base coat. available at approx £2.50 each...............

i understand that on this site there are some incredible paint jobs and at this very moment i am enjoying looking at the gallery

I'd agree, the painting as it is is fine, but I wouldn't say that it was "well above standard".

Still, its good as far as it goes, I might see if I can grab one or two of them!
