Hi there Dakkanauts and Infinity fanatics I have a question that I believe I have the answer but want to make sure.

If a reactive figure in close combat has Martial Arts Lvl3 (strike first before opponent) and is "attacked" by the active figure who does not have martial arts or has a lower level skill; would the reactive figure strike first, rolling a normal roll to hit or would it be a face to face?

As I read it the reactive figure strikes first making a normal roll and if the active player survives he strikes back making a normal roll. Is this right? If so then I love my ninjas!!

BTW... loving what you all are doing. Have recently gotten into the game and am enjoying it a ton. Ran some demos at my store out in DeKalb, IL last night and may have about 3-4 more players interested. Gotta head into Games Plus soon and catch the group that plays there sometime.

Thanks for help!

Correct. They go first even when it's ARO. Then why have it right? Martial Arts is great but even so I've still had Monks get killed by lucky shots lol. Missed the first normal roll to then have the other guy get a crit! It was funny though.

If you go to G+ on the first Sunday of the month there's a bunch of us that play in the morning and afternoon.

Thanks for the confirmation. I was pretty sure that was how it was but when playing last night the sad faces as my ninja beat on his troops during my opponent's active turn had me second guess myself.

I will definitely check it out at G+. Although they are practicing Monpoc the next three Sunday's. May have to help my boys get ready for MonCon!

Thanks again!
