How large are these compared to warhammer 40k and warhammer fantasy battle humans? I'd love to buy some of these models (sir Arthur Wellesley is one of the people I love learning and reading about), but if they are much smaller than the scale of 40k and fantasy I may struggle to paint them a bit, which would just be depressing if I've gone and bought them. So can you give me a hand here?

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

Thank you very much for the comparison pics. I think I can still do it, and I'll rely on boundless enthusiasm to overcome any shortcomings in my painting skills. That or practise Once again, cheers mate.

I've got a bretonnian army almost completly made of Perry miniatures. But I don't have any GW models in it, just a few Gripping Beast. I'm not sure I'd want to mix GW miniatures with historicals in the same army, the scale and look is somewhat different, but I am more than happy with the look of my army. I'm adding in a banebeasts manticore as I think the look goes well with the simpler, more aquaratly scaled historical models.
