Ok, just came accross a comment in another thread and before i jumped on it i wanted to check my logic..

RP does not work if Warriors squad A is wiped out

if a Res orb Lord is deployed with Warriors Squad A he counts as being part of that squad.

So....

The whole squad (including the Lord) is wiped out, probably in CC. The Lord has Everliving and gets back up on his 4+ roll. As he is part of the sqaud, and he is now alive, can the rest of the squad now roll for RP as well?

i didn't think they could but i seem to have thought myself into a corner.....

No, as a character is not sufficient to bring back other models.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

The lords counts as the unit for KP and scoring purposes though

The lord counting as a scoring unit if he makes his EL roll after the rest of the squad dies, has come in handy several times because even if a unit wiped out by shooting while it was capturing an objective there is a chance it will pop back up and be able to still score.

If by "it" you mean the non-EL models, then no, they cannot pop back up as a lord / cryptek does not, as per the RP rules, count as a member of the unit for the purposes of RP

Pretty sure he means that when the cryptek/lord stands up, they are still scoring, not that the non-EL models come back.

11,100 pts, 7,000 pts

Yes I was replying to the post right before mine talking about them still not giving up a kill point and still counting as scoring(assuming he was attached to a squad of troops).

Editing previous post to avoid confusion.
