I have a friend who plays chaos daemons and wants to field Herald of tzeentch on chariot, but we can't seem to find that there is actually a model has anyone come up with a decent way to make one or something that works in their place?

You can get the disc of TZ in fantasy line.... chain it to a coupla' screamers and ta-daa.

Chariot base seems to be the most appropriate (50mmx100mm) for fantasy. For 40k I'd say a 60mm round or combing 60mm halfs with something a tad longer
