Has anybody been playing this board game and if so is it any good?

Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life. Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.

Hadn't even heard of it until you posted this, but it looks pretty cool. Also, it's from FFG and they've done well for me so far...

I tried it; liked it. Good feel, fun and not over-complex.

Played it last week with my brother and a friend. Pretty decent game, but the cards are a bit flimsy.

Also, game requires a certain mindset. There's a LOT of backstabbing and theft from other players involved, and the fortune cards are typically "make other player suck" more often than "make yourself rock."

Never ever play with a woman or you'll get stuck sleeping on the couch.

Yea I own the game and we compete for bragging rights at my store. Right now I am the current guildmaster.

The game is alot of fun, much simpler than the name would suggest with a lot of strategy involved. It is a game of many risks. Need to steal a certain treasure from your opponent? Great, but if you lose the fight he gets to steal something from you! Its also fun to be able to have your own gang and try to make off with all the loot. The gangs are all pretty similar with enough uniqueness (and paintable models) to make people argue over who gets to be the nocturnis gang.

The game is also set up with different adventures that can be played like a story, each adventure with its own challenges.
