Yes i am talking about like... one chapter of space marines or IG, whichever you think a more fair match versus the forces of humans in gears of war. Who would win? The cogs seem like some genetically enhanced jacked dudes. Fearless and blood hungry, at least the heros. (Not the first 2 carmines - the last 1) lol.

I don't know much about them, but they seem like Catachans at least. So I guess depending on weapons against IG they may be on even footing more or less; depending on the numbers as well.

Yeah but if you notice they're huge, and they barely get any food ever. Compare them to civilians in the games. It doesn't all add up, unless genetic enhancements happened...

Or...it's a video game and they wanted to make it cool. I haven't really looked into the novels and such, but at least in the games we really don't get any indication they are engineered solders. Just really big, tough humans. Personally I'd put them down as Catachan equivalents, with the main characters being Catachan Stormtrooper/Karsikan equivalents.

The Imperial Guard would drown them under a sea of exploding munitions.

X v Y threads are not really what the section is for, especially if it involves non-40k elements.
