So I saw the new rulebook being called bob earlier (even though I have my own definition of bob - sadly enough) and as I begin the LONG arduous task of handing GW even MORE of my moneys I realize that there are psychic cards...I know no one knows EXACTLY what they do yet but I'm playing orks...I love my orks...but as an ork we don't enjoy our psychers to much...
So I guess my question is, should I have purchased the psychic cards or was it better that I wait and see if they're needed? I know some races will need them but...After the EIGHTY dollar rule book it just doesn't seem smart to buy them and not NEED them. So was I wrong or right to wait on them?
Still can't believe I sold out and bought bob...addiction thy name is miniature!

The psychic cards are just easy reference cards for the psychic powers in the rulebook. It's so you don't have to turn to page 439 to look up Brainlaser or whatever. Orks apparently don't have access to the common pool psychic powers though, which kinda sucks.

I don't think orks can use them. I also think they are just reference cards. You could just get some 3x4 and make your own. I think.

Then I don't feel so bad for not buying them....Just didn't seem like (as an ork player) that I would need them to terribley bad..

I also bought the BOB and got a BOB sent to my local GW for this Friday night. I'm sure glad I won't need those cards, but those templates sure look sexy.

bob? Do you mean the BRB (Big Rule Book)?

BOB is a more light hearted and fun acronym though, because I've always wanted to call a book "bob". BRB just gives me ugly thoughts of text speak.

And I'll try to get BOB as soon as possible, the thought of GW conceding anything to the Tyranids after horribly abusing them for all of 5th edition just tickles me. Biomancy here I come!

There's already several psychic powers threads, a couple rulebook threads and many 6th ed threads that all answer these questions.

I mean...while we were on the subject on THIS thread I thought I would ask and I feel like I have the right to ask in my own thread and it would seem people wanted to answer....

Well, asked and answered in any event. Yes, in the future, please do try and read the existing threads rather than posting another one. Sometimes the existing threads are so huge and off-topic (see how fast that was happening even here thanks to "bob") that we don't close down everything that is technically a duplicate. But like I said, you have your answer and now we're off topic so time for the lock.

Thanks!
