Hey there

the thunderwolf model looks nice, I like the base. The armor however looks a little unclean, did you drybrush it?
I dig your nid sheme. Really like the color choice of the tyrant, the wings look really cool! However, I think the red is a bit too bright in comparison with the rest of the body. i assume you put a purple wash on a white undercoat? I'd try the same with the red pieces, wash them. (Edit) on second thought, I think it looks good. It contrasts nicely with the pale body.

Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to seeing your next updates!

Thanks MrMerlin for the feed back, yes i did drybrush with the new paints.

Before I show off the pics I will tell you the backround so that some of the pics
make sense

the space wolf company stormwolves where masters of lightning warfare with
thunder wolves and aircraft darting around the battle field. But when one of there
number fell to the dark gods the whole company moved out against the traitorris wolf
known as Restgor Bloodmane. When the stormwolves found Restgor he had amassed
a small army of traitors, As the battle drew to a close Restgor slew the company's wolf lord.
a young blood claw threw him self at Restgor after seeing the wolf lord fall from his mount,
and in a single sweep of his chainsword removed Restgor head. As the wolf lords last
moments came he told the blood claw that he was to take his hammer and his mount.
Upon arrival back at fenris the storm wolves learned that they where now declared traitors
and the new wolf lord decided the the storm wolves should flee to a safer planet.

Now the storm wolves are scavengers using what ever they find.

Now first up the finished (hopefully) wolf lord (still need to figure out a name suggestions appreciated)

Thunder wolf broke of base just before pic was taken

Next up some wip of a chaos rune priest

and some shots of the storm talon wolfstorm (witch will be painted in sub assemblies)

Just a question witch head should i use for the pilot

all forms of feed back appreciated

Looking really good here, very promising. The base on the thunderwolf in particular is very nice, love the rusty metal and snow look.

Have you thought about drilling out the barrels of your storm bolters? or if not just putting a black dot where the holes would be? i think something small like that would help with the realism massive amounts.

The storm talon looks nice, and doing it in parts is probably very sensible. =] i'm not sure how obvious the head would be through the viewer, but i've always liked the wolf one, but if you wanted a more techy-pilot looking one probably go with the middle one.

keep it up

Well after a while of franticly welding/blessing (painting glueing)
and other thingsthe Stormwolves have repaired their storm talon
Wolfstorm.

back shot

also the wolflord kept breaking his base so....

Magnets.
Now on to the actual board. It will be a kind of volcano icecap
i have already got the terrain for a small fortress
but I was wondering if this would be good for the gate?

That's if for now will be finishing up the rune priest and making some more guants
and a wolf guard terminator squad are on the cards.
all kinds of comments appreciated.

Hello guys i'm back! after being sick for two weeks a lot
has happened. one I learned that i couldn't use the tyranids
in my armies on parade .
Two I fnished the wolf guard and the game board
and now for the pictures

The wolf guard squad

The master of the hunt and child hood frend of ... stormwolf (still
need a first name might use something from skyrim)

A piece of scenery

The gate

and last pic is it completed in-store

Now that it is entered I can focus on other projects (i have a guard vs ork campaign idea)
but I am far from finished with the storm wolves. The only thing is that the storm wolves
will progress a lot slower than when I first started.

So tell me what you think of my work so far and all kinds of comments accepted,
and good luck to those that are also entering aop.

It has alot of efforts put into it no doubt. But a few things xD

The wolf, the muzzle looks bald thus like a rat >.<

Also, I know you are displaying the wolves, they are the main focus yes. But I cant help feel the amount of Chaos that is invading that drew so much attention ( of your whole army )
is abit comedic and anti dramatic.

Unless you are going for the effect of " who let the Wolves out" wolf wolf wolf wolf xD

@LunaHound. The whole army is ment to have a chaos/scavenger theme
And yes the wolf does look like a rat but it was realy the best I could do.

@Prototype_x. It was at wellington new zeland but I missed it myself. i
Entred it in early because I had something preplaned

I'm back I was up skiing a lot but I got an idea from it that I will be doing
Soon. At the moment I have some longfangs buitl and sprayed but I can't
Show them due to problems whith my computer (at the moment I'm doing
this off my phone) but I will have pics soon. Now my idea is to have some
Swift claws on snow mobiles insted of bikes, tell me what you think of that
Idea.

I will be back soon leave your feelings and idears please because I would like
It if I had your opion on my work. Hahli out
