The page says that after 2000 points you can take a second primary detachment, is the new minimum 2 hq's and 4 troops or its optional?

2 HQ, 4 Troops, because that is waht 2 FOC requires.
There is nothing indicating the second FOC is different to the initial one, so why assume it is?

I think taking the second FOC is optional. However, should you choose to take it, you certainly need a minimum of 2 HQ's and 4 Troop choices.

This sounds right to me. Likewise, if you take a second Allied Detachment, it would need to fill the minimum choices as well.

Please show me the page number that says this? I am sure it was 1-1999 for one FOC and 2000 or more for 2 FOC. I read so much and maybe I was going by what I saw on the interent instead of my book so I want to make sure.
Right now, I say 2000 points is 2 FOC not "after 2000 points". It would be "2000 points AND after"

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?
